The idea of VWMS was conceived by Mr. Tapas Kumar Sur, a devout social worker who has been working for disadvantaged people of our society for last 30 years to improve their lives. His aim is to connect with benevolent educationists to create an ideal educational institution.
The school was started in the year of 2011 under guidance of some experienced educationists, efficient management and cordial teaching staff. The school has earned a place of respect because of its discipline, quality of teaching and extra-curricular activities.
The parents’ opinions are received empathetically. We follow structured grievance redressal process and child protection policy. The school premise is CCTV enabled. We are but equipped with all latest gazettes and concepts. We affirm complete exploration of the students’ potential.

Our Strategy
The students are handled by experienced and well trained staff in a joyful manner with utmost attention toward discipline. Individual care is given in class for day to day learning. Besides curricular, adequate extra-curricular activities are conducted for skill and personality development. The school comprises well organized and well equipped indoor sports facilities for physical exercises and mental joy.
We conduct cultural workshops on dance, song, recitation, drama. We offer classes on physical training like Yoga, Taekwondo, Table Tennis, Carrom Board, etc. In addition to it cultural functions, overnight camping etc. confidence and skill building events are organized from time to time.

COURSE OF STUDY:
VWMS conducts classes from Play Group (2.5 yrs) to class VIII (13 yrs) at present and will be introducing class X by 2021. The school follows the curriculum of Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
The curriculum includes English Language and Literature, Bengali, Hindi, History & Civics, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Applications, English Language (1st Lang), Bengali (2nd Lang) or Hindi as (2nd Lang) is introduced from Class I onwards. A third language Hindi or Bengali is compulsory from V to VIII. Our books are comparatively of better quality to that of any other high-brand schools.
